On the evening of July 26, within the framework of the 2018 Business Forum at GEM Ho Chi Minh City, Forbes Vietnam held a ceremony to honor the “50 best listed companies of 2018”.
The 50 best listed companies ranked by Forbes Vietnam is a list of companies with the best business performance through published financial indicators, including companies listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange ( #HSX ) and the Hanoi Stock Exchange ( #HNX ). In which, Vietnam Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Corporation #GELEX (Stock code #GEX ) is honored to appear on the list for the first time. Officially listed on the HSX in January 2018, GELEX has achieved impressive numbers and been recognized by the market.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Tieu, Member of the Board of Directors, was honored to receive an award from Forbes Vietnam.
According to statistics from Forbes Vietnam, the 50 companies on this year’s list account for 70.8% of the capitalization of the two exchanges HSX and HNX. Total profit of companies on the list reached VND106,949 billion, up 34%. The profit champion in 2017 was Vinamilk, a company that holds half of the Vietnamese milk market with a profit of over 10,000 billion VND. The enterprise with the highest revenue is Petrolimex, reaching over 153 trillion VND, accounting for about half of Vietnam’s petroleum market share.
